Lejend Yazzie

Lejend Yazzie is a Diné, queer filmmaker, writer and artist. She recently graduated from the Sidney Poitier New American Film School with a focus on directing. She was a 2019 fellow of the Full Circle Fellowship with the Sundance Institute Indigenous Program. Lejend has also contributed to ASU’s Indigenous student magazine, “Turning Points”.
 
Her recent short film, “Ch’įįdii”, is dramatic horror about a young Navajo woman’s resilience.””
