Marilyn Thomas
Marilyn Thomas is an Ojibway/Cree writer/director/producer. She is an enrolled member of Sagkeeng First Nation, but grew up in Gimli, MB, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
Marilyn 's love for stories started early on, as she would concoct ghost stories until she freaked herself out. Just for the fun of it.
She has written/produced documentaries, webseries and e-books, one of which was read from the ISS - yes in space. She has sold 7 features & wrote/directed on a PBS Series, Future Proof. She is the former Vice-Chair of the Native American and Indigenous Committee at the Writer's Guild of America West.
